My name is Anouk Brouwer, I’m playing for HC Den Bosch Dames 1. In addition to playing hockey, I’m studying Sports Communication (SPECO) at university, and I’m now entering my third year.
As a person, I’m known for being cheerful, ambitious, and highly disciplined. I never give up and always give everything to achieve my goals. I bring that mentality with me in everything I do, both on and off the field.

One of the career milestones I’m most proud of is making it into the first team of Den Bosch after years of hard work. I’m now heading into my third season with the team. Last year was especially memorable, we won the treble, and I’m incredibly proud to have contributed to such an amazing season.
Another moment I look back on with great pride is the U18 European Championship. It was my first major tournament representing the Netherlands. I had the honor of being captain and ended the tournament as the top scorer. It was an unforgettable experience that helped shape me both as a player and as a person
What immediately drew me to Brabo were the sticks, an important detail for any hockey player! From the very beginning, I felt right at home with the people behind Brabo. It truly feels like a family.
What makes Brabo special to me is their motto: Improve yourself. That philosophy perfectly matches how I approach both life and sport. I’m always striving to grow and develop, both as an athlete and as a person. That shared mindset makes Brabo a perfect fit for me.
My first goal is to continue playing at a high level and enjoying many more years at HC Den Bosch. Beyond that, my biggest dream is to one day make my debut for the Dutch National Team and hopefully play in a major international tournament.
That’s something I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl and something I work hard for every single day. It would be an incredible honor to represent my country at the highest level.
